Oh, wait- I do love the east Village.
And i’d live by a Mermaid Inn. Or the New Oyster Bar. So I guess I love the East Village too- but it does not seem like a place of permalivin’ — However- We can get there on the F train, that’ll have to do for now. JLOB, Ramen Shops, Little India, Counter, mmmmmmm.

Faced with the “It’s Probably time to give in and get a job” blues- I have discovered that if we stay in New York, it will most likely always be in Brooklyn? Why you ask??? Well - 1) I want to be as far away from Herald Square during the Holidays as possible 2) I like that our current building is near a house that looks like it’s strait outta da’ french quarter 3) I love what’s happening in Food, Art, and Music out here. It’s more our steeze. I am not concerned with Danny Meyer’s new monstrosity, or that you may or may not have a branch on the upper west. I’ll get over long Subway rides (that is, if the subway runs) But unless someone hand delivers me a Garden Duplex between Columbus and Central Park west — BK is where I’ll be for a while. That is unless we move to China, or I can get Drew to give this all up and hit Key West! Either Way!

The Best show in a while.
It’s amazing when you see one of your favorite bands. http://www.thelongwinters.com/ Lead singers… at a small venue in Brooklyn (that you can walk to) strip down all of their songs and be hilarious. He did some mash ups, some belting, some banter. It was a great night. And the Yankees won, so it was a happy household. 3 cheers for John Roderick, and here’s hope for a new album soon! John always wears his signature glasses, I feel like I could use a signature.
